As you can see, earlier today I posted some news on how the Phoenix Mars Lander had sucessfully reached Mars, and NASA have now released some photos of Mars, taken by the lander.

NASA’s Mars Phoenix Lander lands on Mars

At 2:53 AM, EDT the Mars Phoenix Lander reached Mars, completing its 296 day journey. It had a 50% chance of landing sucessfully. According to NASA, the landing was dubbed, “the seven minutes of terror”, as they prayed that it landed sucessfully.
