According to a shocking report from AndrewB_1, emo deaths have in fact been caused by Windows Vista.
As a result we recommend that you downgrade to XP, or move to an alternative OS as soon as possible.
Thanks for understanding.

Vista broke my laptop hard drive 2 days after getting it!

To be honest, I’m really not surprized. Vista completely thrashes the harddrive, and my Sony Vaio is already having issues with the HDD.
Even when Vista is idle, the harddrive is still going mad.

That’s probably because Vista needs at least 4 gigs of ram to work properly and is using your hard-disk as a swap file to make up for the short fall. Therefore uninstall Vista and install XP instead. Hope this is of some help.

Heh. Probably true. 2GB of RAM ought to be plenty though :P. Any other OS is fine with it.
Seems if you disable all of the system services in Vista, it instantly becomes faster and more stable.
